Hello my lovely friends…
It’s good to be back in form..I feel like I am a fresh blogger after taking a break for couple of months. First of all I want to apologise because of my health issues I had to take a break from writing. But now I am back!!!!!!…Today we will be discussing about my current favorite foundation. You know from my previous post that I have always been a fan of Maybelline Fit Me foundation. Since its the beginning of New Year I thought I will explore my options.

So I found ravishing reviews about L.A. Girl Pro. coverage high – definition long wear illuminating foundation. OH my god ladies I am in love with this foundation. Let’s dive in to the review.
I have typical Indian dusky skin tone and have pigmented uneven skin tone. Whenever I go to beauty salon people over there says that I have dry skin. But I feel myself that I have normal to combination skin.
I heard that there are two types of L.A. girl foundation – one is kind of liquid foundation which is suitable for dry skin and another is Matte texture which is suitable for oily skin people. I trusted my gut and went ahead and bought the liquid foundation from Nykaa.(Tooo lazy to shop in store)
I bought L.A. Girl illuminating foundation in the shade Warm Beige. The shade justifies my skin tone. It does not make my skin cakey or you know make white patches. I was so over confident that I have dry skin so I applied a good amount of moisturizer , primer beneath the foundation.
The result was – I was not happy. By evening (the foundation is long wear as it claims) I had a shiny face. Specially around my nose , my forehead I mean it was literally shining and I felt like an oil factory.
I thought to myself something is wrong. This went on for so many days. Then I decided to skip moisturiser altogether and just applied primer (about which I will discuss in another blog). It worked..I was really happy with the end result. My face really had a dewy glow and only glow not shiny/oily. My skin looked healthy and my face remained fresh for almost 6 hours considering the fact that I work indoors.
I love the fact that it has wide variety of shades. I think almost 16 shades. The bottle is kind of plastic so you don’t have to worry about breaking it when you are travelling and the best part is it has this pump. So you can control the quantity.
About coverage it gives me medium to full coverage. You can build the coverage as per your preference. When I apply one coat it gives me medium coverage but if I apply one more coat it gives me medium to full coverage. I always set it with a loose powder. You will have to wait 2 -3 minutes before applying setting powder. I love the finish it gives and I am getting lot of compliments for this look. Lovee it!!!!:-)
My final verdict is that you can definitely give it a try if you have dry or normal or combination skin. It is little bit on a pricey side. I bought it from Nykaa and it was around Rs. 1250/- (for me anything above Rs. 500/- is costly). But I am sure you won’t be disappointed. If you are a make up freak like me and would love to try new products in the market . Definitely go for it.

I hope you got an idea about whether or not to purchase this foundation..Have you tried this foundation. If you have please share your suggestions or any other favorite foundation of yours..
