Happyyyyy New Year to all!!!!!!! Ohhh my god…I can’t believe its another year….I think this would be the right time to include ME time in your daily routine. I know ladies with kids at home , juggling between work and home its very difficult to find time itself so how is it possible to find me time. But trust me ladies having some time just for yourself is the biggest gift that you can give yourself. I will share the benefits I got from me time.
- Keeps me sane
Previously my routine was like I would get up late and get totally stressed out and would rush to work.Then evening I will be back and veg out on couch and would repeat the whole thing again on a daily basis. I felt sluggish and tired all the time. I was angry all the time.Then I decided to get up 1 hour earlier to have some time for myself. To do things that I like. Guess what I felt more alive more sane and relaxed.
2. Clarity to your thoughts
We all have multiple thoughts running in our head all the time : Oh my project is due ….How to complete it on time…I have to clean my house…I have to pay bills and so on. During your me time just take 5 minutes to write the thoughts you have in your mind. Trust me on this ladies you will get more clear picture of everything.
3. Plan in advance
That meal prepping / the trip / the blog you have been planning you can do that in your me time.
Try to allot atleast 5 min or 10 min for workout (it would be better if half an hour) . You can try high intensity work out or simply a walk will do.
5. Focus on our hobbies
When you will find time for yourself you can work on your side hustle or finish the painting you have been working or compose the music you left unfinished or gardening…Basically you can really focus on your hobbies.
6. Simply relax..
Its not necessary that you have to something during your me time..You can even simply do nothing . Enjoy the feel of doing nothing. You can even go to that spa appointment and relax there. Or no need to spend that money do that in your house. Try this ladies..Simply lay on your couch doing nothing or if you want read/ eat/ watch something. This is a game changer.

7. More productive
When we do all the above things we will be more productive. We will feel more energised. Enjoy the calm quietness of the house before everybody wakes up or after everybody sleeps and the hustle begins. Because we all have long day ahead but we will be in a better mood to tackle it because we had some time for us. 🙂
Don’t ignore me time. Try to have daily me time if not possible atleast have weekly me time. When you give time for yourself you will be in a better position to take care of others. Love yourself!!!!!
